Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F).
  2. Grease a donut pan with baking spray.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, yogurt and oil (or butter).

  4. Stir in Superfood Muffin Mix and nutmeg until incorporated.

  5. Pour the batter into a ziploc bag. Snip one corner of the bag and pip into the prepared pan, filling each about 2/3 full.

  6. Bake about 12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a donut comes out clean.

  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool in the pan(s) about 5 minutes while you prepare the chocolate frosting (if using).

Chocolate Frosting (optional)

  1. In a medium, microwave safe bowl, heat the milk until very warm but not boiling.

  2. Stir in the chocolate chips until they have completely melted.

  3. Dip each donut into the frosting until about half of it is covered. You can do this while the donut is still warm. Place the now frosted donut on a rack and sprinkle the top with sprinkles, if desired.

  4. These donuts keep best in the fridge for up to four days.
