light cream cheese
Prepare the banana bread as instructed on the package
When the bread has cooled after baking, prepare the frosting.
Beat together the cream cheese, maple syrup, butter and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until smooth.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Spread the frosting on top of the banana bread in an even layer.
Keep the frosted bread covered in the fridge for up to three days
